“During the midnight hours the rain returned with a vengeance.”

In the morning the kitchen looks like a bomb has gone off.

“In Xanadu did Kubla Khan
a stately pleasure-dome decree.”

“Or use a really good deodorant,”added Taylah, tipping the contents of her water bottle down her cleavage.

Let’s all just laugh at the fact that the book closest to me happened to be called “Master/Slave”, a double sided anthology of BDSM erotica, which actually has two page 45s, since when you flip the book over to the ‘Slave’ side, the pages start over.
The one I got from the ‘Master’ section was:
“The girl hesitated just long enough for the man in command to give the leash an impatient tug.”
and the one from ‘Slave’ is:
“Hey lay at my side, put his arms around me, and we slept, joined, my wrists still captured above my head.”

“Who knows how much information and equipment we have lost, packing and unpacking so many times?”

“…Said to himself, full of grief, “but not for these things. Look how these roomers are gorging themselves, and I’m dying!” - The Metamorphosis
Love it. XD

“Roughly four years after that bloody strike, after the Berlin Wall had fallen, those very same CSN steelworkers were demanding—demanding—that the mill be privatized, because they understood that this was the only way it could remain competitive and keep most of them employed.”
AP Human Geography books are not good for sex lives…

“As she gets closer, my throat goes coarse and there is no air within me - I am such a fool, I think, and the world is unfair to humiliate me this way.”
Damn it.
